Summary: Refunds are only available if you cancel your order before we begin work. Once work has started, we cannot offer a refund as custom digital products cannot be "returned."
1. Nature of Our Products
CodeYourStory delivers custom digital products — personalized websites created specifically for each customer based on the details they provide. Because each product is uniquely built for you, it has no resale value once created. This is why our refund window is limited.
2. Eligible Refunds
You are eligible for a full refund in the following cases:
- You cancel your order before we have begun work on your website (i.e., before you have received any preview or progress update from us).
- We are unable to deliver your order within 48 hours of receiving all required details and payment, with no valid reason provided.
- The delivered website is significantly different from the template you selected and the customization you specified.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are not available in the following cases:
- You have already received the completed website and are simply unhappy with it for subjective reasons not related to any error on our part.
- Work has already begun on your order.
- You provided incorrect or incomplete information and the website was built accordingly.
- You changed your mind after work began or after delivery.
- For any FREE products — since no payment was made, no refund applies.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us via Instagram DM at @codeyourstory as soon as possible after placing your order. Please include:
- Your Instagram handle
- The template you ordered
- Your reason for the refund request
- Proof of payment
Refund requests are reviewed within 24 hours. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.
5. Disputes
If you believe there is an error in how we handled your order, we encourage you to reach out to us directly on Instagram before escalating to a payment dispute. We are committed to resolving all concerns fairly and promptly.
